Private ski lessons in Val d'Isère

A private lesson is the fastest way to progress and the best way to enjoy Val d'Isère. With 30+ years of teaching and guiding, from Chamonix to the Pyrenees and Val d'Isère, I tailor every session to your level, your goals and the conditions of the day, in English or French.

    For every level

    • Beginnersfrom age 10 to adults. I especially enjoy helping adults discover skiing - with patience, the right terrain and no pressure.
    • Intermediate skiersbuild confidence on red and black runs, improve your technique and ski more of the mountain.
    • Advanced skiersrefine your skiing in all snow conditions, discover the best of Val d'Isère and, when your level and the conditions allow, take a few turns off the piste.

    Why an independent instructor

You ski with the same instructor from the first session to the last, at your own rhythm, with a route chosen for you rather than for a group. No group formats, no holiday surcharge, and the same price for 1 to 6 people - ideal for families and friends.

The full day: sit back, I take care of everything

A full day is the most relaxed way to enjoy the mountain. I pick you up at your accommodation in the morning, plan the day around your level, the snow and the weather, and choose the best slopes of Val d'Isère at the right time. For lunch, I book a table at a mountain restaurant that suits you - lunch is at your discretion and expense. All you have to do is enjoy your skiing.

    Where we meet

For full days and mornings, I pick you up at your accommodation in Val d'Isère. Afternoon sessions start at the foot of the Village chairlift, on the front de neige. On multi-day stays, we can also plan a day at La Rosière and the Espace San Bernardo.

    Whatever the weather

Snowy days can be great days too. When the light is flat, I adapt the itinerary to the conditions - and fresh snow often makes for the best skiing of the week.
